How to prepare for the English part of the US citizenship interview
What the English test at the US naturalization interview looks like — speaking, reading and writing — and a simple plan to prepare for it as a Georgian speaker.
Online English for Georgians abroad
Private online lessons with a Georgian-speaking tutor. When something is confusing, it gets explained in Georgian — so you finally understand it, and then use it in real life.
Then we practise the whole phone call together.
Sound familiar?
Most students don't need “more grammar”. They need to feel calm on the phone, at work and at the doctor. That's what we practise.
Calling the bank, insurance or a landlord without rehearsing every sentence first.
Describing symptoms clearly and understanding what the doctor tells you.
Talking to managers, clients and colleagues — and getting the better job.
Parent–teacher meetings, emails from school and forms that make sense.
Preparing for interviews, the citizenship test and official paperwork.
Fast speech, accents and slang — so you stop smiling and nodding.
Why a Georgian-speaking tutor
Georgian and English work very differently. Knowing both languages means fixing the real cause of a mistake, not just the symptom.
Tricky grammar is explained in your language. Practice happens in English.
Articles, he/she, tenses, “five book” — we target the typical traps from day one.
Lessons are built around your life: your job, your city, your next appointment.
Mornings, evenings or weekends — in your time zone, wherever you live.
Lessons
Every plan is personal. These are the most common starting points.
From your first sentences to speaking freely: shops, doctors, banks, neighbours and small talk.
Interviews, CVs, emails and meetings. Vocabulary for your field — from trucking to nursing to IT.
Practise the speaking, reading and writing parts and the civics questions until they feel easy.
Structured preparation for IELTS, TOEFL and other English exams, with mock tests and feedback.
How it works
A relaxed 20-minute chat in Georgian or English. We talk about your goals and check your level.
You get a clear plan built around your life — what we'll cover first and how long it takes.
Lessons over Zoom, Google Meet or WhatsApp video, with practice between sessions.

FAQ
Yes. Complete beginners are very welcome — that's exactly where explanations in Georgian help the most. We start with what you need first, like introducing yourself and simple everyday situations.
Both, in the right balance. Explanations of difficult things can be in Georgian, but you speak English as much as possible. As your level grows, the lessons move more and more into English.
Online, 1-on-1, via Zoom, Google Meet or WhatsApp video — whatever is easiest for you. All you need is a phone or computer and a stable internet connection.
Lessons are scheduled in your local time. Mornings, evenings and weekends are possible, so you can fit lessons around work and family.
Lessons are usually 50 or 60 minutes. Two lessons a week works well for most students, but we'll pick what fits your goals and schedule.
It depends on the programme and the number of lessons. Write on WhatsApp or email for current prices — the intro call is always free.
